First Spring flowers
First Spring flowers

So, you’re wondering how things went with the IRS and my knee.  Two appointments on the same day.  First the knee:  Torn meniscus, surgery May 1st.  A good friend who has gone through a knee replacement at New England Baptist (Boston’s foremost sports orthopedic hospital) quickly disabused me of the concept that it was a routine, in-and-out procedure.  On to a second opinion.

As for the IRS, I had no idea how dangerous working for the IRS could be.  The stories I heard about “surprise” visits to agents’ houses truly had the hair standing up on the back of my neck.  Anyway, that too shall pass.

Finally, Spring is making an appearance, with the first flowers to have “popped,” with indications of tulips and daffodils to follow.
