Media/Advertising/Real Estate

Move[2], the third most trafficked sight for property listings, is being acquired by News Corp for $950m.

Boston-based NEXAGE, the developer of real-time bidding technology theta helps automate the buying and selling of mobile advertising, is being acquired by Millennial Media for $108m.

Upsight, Inc. sold its PlayHaven ad network. is being acquired by Science, a disruptive media, marketing and brand building company, for $20m.


Hitch, the ride sharing platform that connects riders oolong similar traveling along routes. is being acquired by Lyft.


Zeetl, a social telephony company, is being acquired by Hootsuite.


Alios BioPharma, which is developing proprietary treatments for viral diseases, is being acquired by Johnson & Johnson for $1.8b.

Chelsea, Massachusetts, Civitas Therapeutics, which focuses on Parkinson’s disease treatments,is being acquired by Acorda Therapeutics for $525m.

Ambit Biosciences, which focuses on treatments for oncology, autoimmune and inflammatory diseases by inhibiting enzymes, is being acquired by Daiichi Sankyo for $410m.

PatientKeeper, which creates software for physicians, is being acquired by HCA.


Tibco Software, a leader in infrastructure and business intelligence software, including an event enabled enterprise platform, is being acquired by Vista Equity Partners for $4.3b.

Parago, a leader in global incentive and engagement solutions, is being acquired by BlackHawk Network for $290m. BlackHawk is a leading payments and prepaid network.

Aviary, a developer of mobile SDK’s, is being acquired by Adobe Systems.

BravePoint, a leading provider of consulting, training and application development services, is being acquired by Progress Software.

Naurtech, which develop solutions which provide connectivity to enterprise data and applications using Windows CE platform devices, is being acquired by LANDesk Software.

The Netherlands

E-magazine app authoring firm, Prss, is being acquired by Apple.

United Kingdom

Neul, which is focused on the “internet of things,” is being acquired by Huawei Technologies for $25m. The Narrowband IoT, where Neul devices work, is designed to work at sub-gigahertz frequencies as part of future 3GPP cellular standards for connecting low data rate devices that have exceptionally long battery life.

South Korea

shopkick, which drives the in-store shopping experience, is being acquired by SK Telecom


Gaadi Web, a mobile app for car and bike search, is being acquired by CarDekko for $11m.

Bookpad, a service that hosts cloud-based documents, is being acquired by Yahoo! The rumored price is between $8 and $15 million.
