Whew!  A ton of fundings this week.  So I’m behind.  Note the number of international companies.  Eight of the 31 private placements were in China  Another six were in India, Sweden and Brazil.

We’re up to our eyeballs in projects, so we will have a lapse in publishing.  But we will catch up, as always.

Kony, which partners with consumer facing companies to develop and keep apps current, raised a $50m Series E round.

Clari, a sales productivity app which harnesses the power of mobile, the cloud and big data, raised a $20m Series B round.`

Mantis Vision claims to have the solution that will bring 3D to every mobile device, raised $12m.


Puppet Labs is for IT system administrators.  Their software helps sysadmins automate configuration and management of machines and software.  The Company raised a $40m Series E round.

Forge Rock, which offers the only unified open source identity stack to protect enterprise, cloud, social and mobile applications at Internet scale, raised a $30m Series C round.

ThoughtSpot, a business intelligence company, raised a $30m Series B round.

PowerVision, which offers the infrastructure for companies to create their own online instructional programs, raised a $10m Series D round.

Zerto, a data recovery/business continuity as-a-service company, raised a $26m Series D round.

VeloCloud, which is reinventing the WAN, raised $21m.


HelloFresh , a service that delivers the ingredients and recipes for your meals, straight to your door, raised a $50m Series D round.  They are in 30 states, including New Hampshire!  The delivery area is from the Dakotas to Texas, and East.

Instacart, an online grocery delivery service which sources from your local stores, raised a $44m Series B round.

ClearCare, which provides home care software in an all-encompassing web-based solution, raised an $11m Series B round.


BitGo, which is purported to keep your Bitcoin safe, raised a $12m Series A round.

UCloud Information Technology, a Chinese provider of cloud-based services, raised a $50m Series B round.


Victorious, a stealthy startup for YouTube stars, raised $13m.


Proterra, which is making an all-electric bus, raised a $30m Series C round.


AuraSense Therapeutics, a biopharmaceutical company developing first-in-class therapies based on Spherical Nucleic Acid (SNA™) gene regulation, raised a $14m Series C round.


Bigbasket, India’s largest online food and grocery store, raised $33m., which helps you find rentals, resale, agents, new projects and land plots across 25 cities in India, raised $19m.

A Ticketmaster of India, BookMyShow raised $25m.


China’s answer to, Tujia raised a $100m Series C round.

UCloud Information Technology, a Chinese provider of cloud-based services, raised a $50m Series B round.

Chinese pawnshop marketplace, Taodangpu, raised a $30, Series B round.

Beijing-based Light Chaser Animation raised  $20m Series B round.

Chinese on-line games company, raised a $15m Series B round.

P2P Chinese lending platform, WeLab raised $14m.

P2P lending site, Yooli, raised a $10m Series B round.

Financial products supermarket, 91JinRong, raised a $10m Series B round.


Ostrovok, a Moscow-based travel e-commerce company, raised a $12m Series C round.


Brazil-based, MiTu Network which aims to be the network for Latino creators, raised $10m.


Saltside Technologies, which hopes to be the CraigsList of South Asia, raised $25m.  The countries currently targeted are Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, and Ghana.  They are currently in Gothenburg and Dubai.
