AOL buys TechCrunch and Others

AOL bought TechCrunch, 5min Media, and StudioNow for $30-plus million.  These are all interesting acquisitions, that will keep them relevant.  TechCrunch is a blog that reports new technology news and has a network of websites.  5min Media is a video-syndication company and StudioNow is a platform for online video creation and distribution.  These are noteworthy as building block acquisition as opposed to the blockbuster acquisitions of 3PAR by HP and Blade Networks by IBM.
